It’s not always convenient….

and sometimes truck stops are the only places to do yoga….

and at times it’s like taking a trip back thru the 90’s….

but the trade off is this. So far this little man is my youngest fan and will always say that “his first concert ever was Diane Birch”

We checked out the Amana Colonies for a quick trip thru the Amish world of quilts, antiques, authentic german food. Definitely beats Burger King.

One of the definite hightlights for me was a guest appearance of the Michigan University a cappella group ‘Amazin’ Blue who I had discovered months ago on youtube doing a rendition of ‘Forgiveness’ that kinda blew me away. I asked these talented folks to join me onstage in Ann Arbor during my performance and it was so much fun! They are not only talented and creative but SUPER sweet! I’m working on the video we shot of the performance right now….there are a few weird coding errors for some reason. Will update soon. The shows have been great and every city offers it’s own unique experience. Our tour manager Tom shares our passion for great coffee and is always on the hunt to discover little cafe gems in every city.

One of our favorite little finds was Sandy’s Books & Bakery in Rochester Vermont. Coffee was superb and the egg sandwich was the best I’ve ever had in my life. Not to mention the environment was beyond charming with a super friendly staff!
